Heath Ledger died on tuesday in his apartment in Manhattan and was found by his housekeeper in the afternoon, who wanted to remind him of his massage appointment. He died at the age of 28.
Police said there were pills thrown all over his room, but it is still not confirmed if it was an intentional or accidental death. It is known that he needed a lot of sleeping pills every night just to sleep for a few hours, so it wasn't the first time he took this pills and he has been practised in dealing with them.
Films like Ned Kelly, Casanova, Candy, Brokeback Mountain etc. made him immortal and one of the most pleasant and successful actors. He was never satisfied with ordinary roles.
After his death he can be seen in the movies I'm Not There paying homage to Bob Dylan and The Dark Knight playing an incredible Joker.
