Underground

This four fellows from Ghent, Belgium have been quiet unnoticed so far. For no reason, of course. But a few gigs (for example as support of Belgium friends Soulwax) and dragging releases outside Belgium have yet not been enough. First chance for insiders to notice Das Pop has been their debut release of "I Love" in 2000 or at least the release of the second album "The Human Thing" in 2004. Although they are trying to get rid of the label Belgium Brit-Pop, they can't deny their influences. Even their new single "Underground", which has been published on the 4th of August is quiet poppy and British again. But they have totally chosen the right direction. "Underground" is one of the most catchy songs right now and it becomes an amazing dancefloor filler through Van She's Club Mix and Busy P's Remix, who must have been influenced by Italian Hip-Hop bangers Crookers. Das Pop will finally get their well-deserved attention and hopefully not just through the remixes. I have added the song "Fool For Love", which will also appear on "Underground's" CD version, and SebastiAn's great remix of it.
