House Of Holland: Agyness Deyn

Agyness Deyn is London's new 25-year-old popular model. She is currently starring in the Burberry and the Gorgio Armani campaign. She is famous for her variety of looks, which changes from glamourous chic to cool, rocky, individual and androgynous, that's why she is contrary to the conventional bikinimodels. The British New Rave scene was strongly supported by her looks and especially by her presenting her friend's t-shirt collections Fashion Groupies and One Trick Pony by Henry Holland's House Of Holland, which show funny and halfway filthy rimes about current models like herself, Linda Evangelista and Kate Moss. Anyway, she is tipped as the new Kate Moss.

Oi Oi Oi Remixed

Alex Ridha from Hamburg and recently from Berlin is better known as the electro DJ and producer Boys Noize, who has released singles and EPs since 2004 on Turbo Recordings, Kitsuné Music, Datapunk and on DJ Hell's International Gigolo Records. He has made up his own label BoysNoize Records in 2005, which releases for example D.I.M., Puzique, Strip Steve, Les Petits Pilous and Shadowdancer. Ever since his album "Oi Oi Oi" and several remixes for Justice, Tiga, Para One, Depeche Mode, Cut Copy, Feist, Bloc Party, Shiny Toy Guns, Apparat and many more he is securely established in the electronic music scene.

For 2008 Boys Noize has announced a remixalbum called "Oi Oi Oi Remixed", which will include remixes by Para One, Feadz, probably the "Don't Believe The Hype" remix by Surkin and an "& Down" edit by Siriusmo.

If you wanna see Björk you will have to pay 85 € extra, instead of the common 65 € for 2 days MELT!

"Let's Rock" the Berlinale

Last Thursday the 58th Filmfestival of Berlin The Berlinale has been opened with a imposing gala. This gala has given an impression of the movies, which will be shown for the next ten days, introduced the jury, consisting of Costa Gavras, Uli Hanisch, Diane Kruger, Walter Murch, Alexander Rodnyansky and Shu Qi, and has been opened with the premiere of Martin Scorsese's new documentary film "Shine A Light" about two concerts of The Rolling Stones in New York in 2005.

The leader of the Berlinale Dieter Kosslick has told that the festival is focused on music and children's destinies this year and the participation of films from the Middle East has risen.

As every year The Berlinale blooms with a high posse of international Filmstars like Tilda Swinton, Julia Roberts, William Dafoe, Penélope Cruz, Ben Kingsley, Dennis Hopper, Shah Rukh Khan, Daniel Day-Lewis, Madonna and many more. Further on it's doubtful wether Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson will visit The Berlinale, but it's certain that their film "The Other Boleyn Girl" with Eric Bana by Justin Chadwick will be shown. Apart from this film Paul Thomas Anderson's "There Will Be Blood" with Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the most expected films, because it is already nominated for eight Oscars.
